Double Down® Deer Feed is a custom blend that was originally created for the Holden Pasture Deer Lease, we simply wanted more out of our feed. Double Down® Deer Feed was formulated with the highest quality ingredients, ZERO least cost rations, and ZERO grain by-products. The work you put into growing big deer does not stop with just a good feed. A strong management plan must be in place to consistently grow big bucks. Feeding year-round, letting your deer age, having water nearby all feed stations, and identifying as many regular bucks as possible year-to-year to help prevent mistakes are all major factors in a successful program. Remember, being a patient hunter is one of the most important keys to success. Harvesting just one young buck that has progressed above your expectations, could be the difference in growing a giant buck of a lifetime! Feed year round for best results and especially during antler development and/ or drought conditions to wildlife in their natural habitat. We have been feeding Double Down for 3 years now and our herd loves it. We lease a low fenced 5000 acre parcel of property in Webb County. We are very picky about letting our bucks age and have a year round feed plan in place. The property was not... hunted for 3-4 years prior to our arrival. What we have noticed since starting our feed plan is a lot more mass in the bucks horns along with unbelievable body mass. Also our does look really healthy. Our lease mate tried some Record Rack protein and not even raccoons would touch it! We purchased some self-feed protein feeders and put some Double Down in it, and within a couple days, there were dominant bucks hitting the pens hard for about 8-10... hours a day. We started drawing in elusive bucks that contained very good genetics in Lavaca County, Texas. We haven’t shot a buck since we’ve been on this lease because the hunters before us shot everything once it was 13 inches between the two main beams. This year, we have grown some bucks to 5.5 years old with plenty of Double Down to keep them in tow. Our lease mate recently put out one bag of Double Down in his protein feeder and it was gone midway through the week!😂read more

Been feeding Double Down since December! I have 2400 acres low fence and last month they consumed 3000#. Deer look very good and the horn growth is awesome. As long as I can afford it, Double down will be the only feed that touches my protein... feeders. Try it you will be satisfied. I hunted the Holden Pasture of the Nunley with Brett and crew and was able to kill the biggest deer of my life. I was able to hunt one of the ranches that feed Double Down year around and I can honestly say I have never seen a place (free range) with as many 170"+ deer in my life. In one evening before the season opened I videoed 2 deer pushing 200" from the... same blind. 3 days later someone killed one of the deer which was 204". Unbelievable especially since that particular deer was estimated as a 160ish deer the year before. It must be what they are feeding them.read more
